GenVA lab focuses on understanding the genetic basis of natural variation in morphological traits, stress tolerance and life history traits using the fruit flies of the genus Drosophila as a model system. We are mainly working on clinal patterns of phenotypic traits and genetic variations specifically addressing the adaptive response to climatic variation.
We addressed questions to understand how eco-evolutionary dynamics influence adaptation to a seasonally changing environment. |
